Northern Arts Council Grants

The NAC was formed in 1969 for the purpose of developing and sponsoring arts and cultural events in Northern Wisconsin. It is the longest continuing local arts group in the state and has supported a wide variety of worthy programs, including dance and choral groups as well as adult and children’s library programs. Generally, the NAC does not fund capital purchases. Applicants should be aware of the following guidelines:

  • funds are used exclusively for non-profit purposes
  • funds are not used for salaries or scholarships
  • funds are payable after NAC Annual meeting budget approval in January 2023
  • awards require NAC credit for funding in project or program publicity
  • awards carry no future commitment or additional project or program support

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Completed application must be received by NAC no later than December 1
Grants range from $100 to $5,000

The NAC awards grants to non-profit groups based on available funds which come primarily from NAC memberships. Although not required, grant applicants are strongly encouraged to become NAC members. More information about membership can be found here: https://nacwi.org/membership/
