Northern Arts Council Grants

Formed in 1969 for the purpose of developing and sponsoring art and cultural events in Northern Wisconsin, the Northern Arts Council (NAC) is the longest continuing local arts group in the state.

Northern Arts Council Grants

The NAC has supported a wide variety of worthy programs, including dance and choral groups as well as adult authors and children’s programs. NAC grants range from $100 to $5,000. The deadlines for completed applications are December 1 and March 1 each year. You may apply for only one of the grant cycles.

Individual Artist Grants

This initiative is designed to assist emerging visual artists from Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, and Vilas Counties. In an effort to promote the arts and cultural programs, this grant program awards an artist or group of artists with a grant of up to $3,000.
