Northern Arts Council Grants

Formed in 1969 to develop and sponsor art and cultural events in Northern Wisconsin, the Northern Arts Council (NAC) is the longest-continuing local arts group in the state.  Available grant funds are dependent on NAC's membership program. Grants are reviewed and awarded case-by-case, evaluated on merit.

Northern Arts Council Grants

Northern Arts Council Grants assists organizations from Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, and Vilas Counties. This grant program awards organizations with a grant between $100 and $5,000 to promote the arts by the NAC's mission to develop and sponsor art and cultural programs.

Applicants for each grant cycle must fill out the application completely. Only complete and accurate applications will be considered.

Applications for this grant are closed. The next cycle opens October 1, 2024 and closes November 30, 2024 Notification of awards will be emailed after the Northern Arts Council's budget meeting.

Individual Artist Grants

The Individual Artist Grant program has been suspended for 2024.

This initiative is designed to assist visual artists from Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, and Vilas Counties. In an effort to promote the arts and cultural programs, this grant program awards an artist or group of artists with a grant of up to $3,000.
